2020 Holiday Message From Mind-Eye President:
Zemen Abebe

Reflecting on the Year 2020

As this year’s holiday season approaches, we are reminded that this is a time like no other as the pandemic continues to inflict uncertainty, stress, and great loss in our communities. COVID-19 has been devastating for many.  But even if we have not been touched by tragedy, we all miss our usual means of social support, the comfort of gathering with friends and family, and the normal day-to-day activities and traditions that mark our lives.

At Mind Eye, the number-one priority has been keeping our patients, team members, and immediate families safe and protected while remaining fully operational to ensure ongoing care to all who seek symptom relief and a return to quality of life.  It is the goal of this Institute to continue providing the support you need — either in-person or via telehealth — to fulfill our commitment to you.

We hope to emerge from this pandemic as a much stronger and more resilient health care organization. We are all in this together. Our patient advocates and clinical teams are always here to assist you, and we encourage you to reach out to us at any time.

On behalf of everyone at the Mind Eye Institute, we wish you peace amid difficulty, warmth of memories despite all we have missed and been unable to share, and the ability to connect with family and friends even though we must remain physically apart.

Thank you for your trust in us. Together, we look forward in hope to a much better 2021.

Zemen Abebe
President, Mind-Eye Institute
